Your Leader Shapes Your Deck
Every deck in Untold starts with a choice: your Leader. This legendary creature sits at the helm of your strategy and determines which elements you can use in the rest of your deck.
One Leader Per Deck
Pick any legendary creature as your Leader. It lives outside your 60-card deck and anchors your entire strategy from the start.
Color Identity Defines Your Options
Your Leader's elements -- from its cost and abilities -- form your deck's color identity. Every other card must fit within those colors.
Strategy Starts Before the Match
Choosing a dual-element Leader opens more options but spreads you thin. A single-element Leader keeps your deck focused and consistent. The choice is yours.

Your Leader doesn't count toward the 60-card deck minimum. It's always available and always guiding your strategy.

Untold uses a rarity-based deck limit system so every match is more varied, more strategic, and more affordable. We built the economy around two priorities: fun and players.
How Rarity Limits Work
In a 60-card deck, the majority will always be commons and uncommons. This means two players with completely different collections can still build competitive decks.
